The committee is grateful to its Patron Lord St Levan, who, with his family and staff has been a faithful supporter of the shows for many years, and to the honorary officers, who continue to give us their time and expertise.
In recent years the show has now moved to its new venue at Marazion Community Centre. Challenging logistics at St Johns Hall, the fact that the show staging could no longer be stored at the hall and for ease of access to the wider community the show is now staged in Marazion. The committee maintains a positive outlook for the future, hoping that the new venue will continue to be available for the shows, and the West Cornwall community.
Our venue at Marazion enables us to have easy access for staging and also free parking for visitors. More recently covid has obviously meant we had to cancel a couple of years, but in 2023 we were back with the first show in 2 years.
As we look forward 2024 is a very exciting year for us as we celebrate our centenary year and we are busy gathering articles and pictures to create a display of the show since it began.
